Established in March 2000, our client is a young, dynamic, independent recruitment specialist that has quickly and successfully grown a reputation for quality of service and commitment to both candidates and clients. TAO IT their outsourced IT partner, were commissioned to migrate the companies main database system from an old Linux platform to a more modern Windows 2003 Server environment. It was crucial that the migration went as smoothly as possible because the business relies so heavily on information stored in its database to generate revenue. TAO IT undertook the migration with an objective of minimizing disruption to the business, set up a test environment to ensure any issues were solved prior to the main move and changed the systems out of office hours over a weekend. The users left their desks Friday night and returned to the new system Monday morning. TAO IT  Account Managers were on site and on hand Monday morning – first thing to ensure all went smoothly. One of the directors said “I didn’t know it happened” proving that TAO IT are able to support a business critical IT environment without any disruption to the business and loss of revenue.
